#45 | Elbow Tendonitis Prevention Ground Workout

Anatomy-Based Ground Workout to Prevent Elbow Tendonitis & Improve Grip Strength

In this informative anatomy-based class, Lindsey will take you through a variety of exercises to help prevent elbow tendonitis and improve grip strength. This workout is great for aerialists or anyone who relies on a strong grip for their activity. This is not appropriate for someone experiencing elbow tendonitis or pain…the exercises are to prevent it or once it’s healed, prevent it from recurring.

Props you’ll need:
  • light dumbbells (3 and 5 pounds suggested), or water bottle or similar
  • Towel
  • Foam roller or rolled up yoga mat or similar

About Lindsey

From competitive gymnastics and collegiate dance, to a B.S. in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Lindsey has a strong background in human movement. When she discovered aerial silks in 2012, she quickly fell in love with the circus arts, venturing into acro balance and trapeze soon after.

Our studio is located in beautiful Charleston, SC, surrounded by beaches and southern charm. Our facility is fully equipped with 25' ceilings, 9 rig points, climate control, soft gymnastics flooring, crash mats, and a wide variety of apparatuses. 

We also offer online classes for aerialists stuck at home without equipment, and virtual private lessons for those with access to aerial equipment.
