Around the World on Aerial Hoop is a playful, dynamic movement. It is so easy to set up and quick to do it can easily be added to choreography for a little pop of excitement. We use several similar variations of Around the World as learning progressions, but these variations can be used in choreography as well. This tutorial will cover all of these progressions and variations.
Around the World can be a really empowering skill, especially when students go through the progressions step by step. It is likely this skill will take a number of classes before students have the strength to do the full version, but they get little successes along the way. Make sure students are training this skill on both sides to keep their body balanced and injury free.
