We love the effect of flipping the hoop upside down and this Double Ankle Hang on Aerial Hoop is a great example. Having the connection point at the bottom of the hoop makes the hoop feel like an entirely new apparatus. And our students love that this ankle hang is so much more comfortable than the standard Double Ankle Hang on Lyra version.
Even though this ankle hang is usually much more comfortable than the standard version, the balance is much more precarious. Make sure students understand the balance before adding stylization.
