Entering Ball Pose on aerial silks from a same side knee hook can be a little bit trickier than entering it from an opposite side knee hook, so when we teach our aerial silk classes we typically wait to teach this entry until our aerial silk students are already very comfortable with the basics of Ball Pose from the ground and from an opposite side knee hook first. Once students are comfortable with those entries and ready to explore something new, then we introduce them to the aerial silks transition into Ball Pose from a same side knee hook. Our aerial silks teaching tutorial video for this transition covers the key details and pathways that make this entrance work.
