Silks
This aerial silks sequence is a sequence of core conditioning drills that we use to warm up our aerial silks students. When combined into a sequence, these drills challenge core strength, awareness, and endurance in all directions of motion. This sequence is especially useful before an aerial silks class focused on skills that involve c-shaping, including slow roll downs and creature rolls.
We teach this sequence to our intermediate level aerial silks students, once they’ve learned each skill separately. Successful cueing can make or break a sequence like this, and our tutorial covers details that are important to make the most of this challenging core warmup sequence on aerial silks.
