Creature Descent is an aerial silks descent that looks like magic! This skill is more common on rope, but it works just as nicely on aerial silks so long as the aerialist is careful not to let the fabric tail spread out. This descent looks simple but it can be confusing, and our aerial silks tutorial videos break down the actions that make it work.
We teach this aerial silks descent to our higher level aerial silks students who are comfortable with straddle ups in the air and have a great understanding of inverted supports. This descent requires full control with the legs, feet, and core to make it work safely and effectively.
