This up down sequence on aerial silks is a warm-up sequence that our intermediate to advanced students train near the beginning of their aerial fabric training session or class. This conditioning sequence combines Same Side Climbs and Opposite Side Climbs in a way where both sides of the body are evenly challenged, and where switching from side to side can make a student have to pause and think. This up down sequence also includes a Wheeldown descent.

This sequence uses a lot of height if all 4 steps of the climb are practiced as I demonstrate in this tutorial video. This sequence can be easily modified for less height, by doing two steps of the climb instead of four, then repeating on the opposite side of the body.

Overall this sequence is a great one for getting fabrics brains and bodies ready for a session.
