Ankle Hang At-home Workout

This is a replay of one of our live-streaming workouts. This workout targets the strength, mobility, and movement smarts needed to master an Ankle Hang! Next time you're in the studio training with your coach, ask them about aerial progressions to build on what you've done at home.

Ankle Hangs are a fun and exciting skill that can be done on Aerial Silks or Aerial Sling.

Here's an example of Ankle Hang on aerial sling. There are many ways to do ankle hang and this is just one example.



Props needed:

  • Yoga mat or similar soft surface
  • Belt
  • Foam roller or thick cushion

Our studio is located in beautiful Charleston, SC, surrounded by beaches and southern charm. Our facility is fully equipped with 25' ceilings, 9 rig points, climate control, soft gymnastics flooring, crash mats, and a wide variety of apparatuses. 

We also offer online classes for aerialists stuck at home without equipment, and virtual private lessons for those with access to aerial equipment.
