Chariot Front Dive on Aerial Hoop is a dynamic forward dive with lots of progressions which makes it very accessible and empowering. We created the Chariot Front Dive as a progression for the Front Dive from the top of the hoop, but, as often happens with progressions, students loved it so much we added it to our curriculum as a stand alone skill.

There are a lot of progressions and stepping stones to learn this dive which is great for some students, but not every student will need to do every single progression. This dive is also very similar to a Half Mill Circle, but instead of moving slowly, this dive happens quickly and has a lot of momentum. All of the progressions require students to roll down their spine so their ribs go in and up. Front Balance Roll Ups and Roll Downs are a very important prerequisite for the Chariot Front Dive.

This skill is great by itself, but if you are looking for the Front Dive from the Top Drill, check out the related drills section below.
