The True Reverse Clock Splits is a variation of Reverse Clock Splits, the only difference between these two variations is the placement of the high leg relative to the hoop. We learned the Basic Reverse Clock Splits ages ago and didn’t discover True Reverse Clock Splits until much later.

In the basic Vertical Clock Splits both legs are on the same side of the hoop. To us it looks like the legs and body are all in front of the hoop. In a basic Reverse Clock Splits the high leg is behind the hoop while the low leg and body are in front of the hoop. In a True Reverse Clock split both legs and the body are in front of the hoop which matches how everything is set up in a regular Vertical Clock Split.

We like how the difference between these two reverse clock splits makes students think about how small changes at the beginning of a skill can have a big impact on the end of the skill and it is always nice to have a nerdy theory moment with students.
