Wrist Locks are a support that we don’t use all that much when students are learning new skills, because our progressions are focused on training new students to develop their grip and we prefer to wait with challenging skills until they are strong enough in their grip, to prevent overuse injuries. But, at the same time Wrist Locks are useful for conditioning and to give students a little more help when they need it.
And, Wrist Locks are a lock that can be used for a variety of aerial skills. This video shows a few different types of wristlock that we use on aerial silks.
