Double Knee Mount to sit on the fabric knot builds core strength and it’s a fun transition for beginners. We teach this in our beginner level classes when students need to get up to seated on a knot that might be slightly too high to step up into.

This skill builds core strength to help students with tuck ups by building leg lifting and inversion strength. Because it’s got a few interesting stopping points along the way, we also frequently include it in sequences. This is a skill we teach early on and as students progress through beginner level they will revisit it often as part of conditioning sets as well as a simple practical way to get up to seated on a fabric knot.
