Backwards Tick Tock is an intermediate level drop that initiates by going backwards in space. There are many directions that a drop can initiate from, and at an intermediate level we like to introduce our students to a variety of drops that take them forwards, or backwards, or sideways, or inverted. Because of the wrap that we’re in this drop actually initiates in a backwards piked position that we drop into.

This drop is related to a similar variation that we teach in the fabric knot, Backwards Tick Tock in the Knot. There are many variations of a Tick Tock Drop so be sure to always be aware of which wrap you’re in and which drop you’re planning, because they are not all wrapped the same way.
