Half Iron T is a variation of Iron T that’s a cross between an Iron T and a Hollow Body Hang. It’s a great drill for training students to both hang from one arm, and press with the other arm at the same time.
This skill helps prepare students for skills like Iron T, Flag, and many others. And, it’s interesting all on its own. We teach this skill once students are beginning to work on Iron T because it is easier to master and it is a good prep at the same time.
