Forward Roll on the Aerial Hoop seems to defy gravity and physics as the aerialist rolls all the way around the lyra in one fluid motion. A forward roll is such a fun skill even after years of doing it. We often see people doing an incomplete version where they slide down to their knees and then slide the hands to sit up. In this video we’ll show you how to make it all the way around the hoop in one fluid motion.

Taking the knee bounce and hand slide out of the skill makes it so magical and effortless looking. It can be a challenge at first and correcting old habits may take some time but it is absolutely worth the effort.
