This active reach with side bend drill comes from an excerpt from one of our full length classes. It can be done with or without a light weight (1-3 lbs). You will need some wall space for this ground drill.
This drill is especially useful for improving shoulder and trunk mobility with the arm reaching overhead. It is particularly helpful for developing the pathway of the flamenco grip, which is often used in transitions such as candy cane roll up to arabesque roll down.
