Scissor lifts help with skills that require holding the body up sideways in space. This position works the obliques and inner thighs for a strong hip key position. This drill can be worked into an aerial warm-up or it can be done as conditioning at the end. It’s also great for kinesthetic learners to practice on the ground before finding the shape in the air during their aerial practice.
