The Front Lion to Forward Roll Sequence is a playfully dynamic sequence that includes some less common transitions between skills. Students enjoy this sequence for its dramatic, dynamic moments and we enjoy how the sequence gets students to better understand the connections between skills. Detailed instruction for each skill in the sequence can be found by clicking through the individual skills linked below.
Chariot, one of the skills in the sequence is a fairly easy beginner skill, but the way we get into Chariot isn’t so easy and the way we get from chariot to seated is down right hard. Don’t worry, we also offer an easier version of the sequence to make the transition from chariot to seated much easier. Then this little sequence ends with a combo of two dynamic skills. We go from an Around the World directly into a Forward Roll. This combo is challenging, but fun. This video will go over all the unique transitions in detail.
