The Hip Hang to Chariot Front Dive Sequence is mostly a performative sequence. We always like to have a purpose with our sequences, so as teachers, we like that this sequence requires students to focus on smooth graceful transitions. The students enjoy having the front dive in the sequence.

The Hip Hang to Chariot Front Dive Sequence can also be converted to an infinite sequence that takes students through both sides of their bodies. There are a couple of moments in the sequence that can be altered to fit class projects. I use a simple entrance from seated to hip hang, but there are many other ways to get students into the hip hang. Then the transition that connects the angel back to a hip hang to restart the infinite sequence is the pathway I like to take, but there are other ways to get from angel to hip hang.

Detailed instruction for each skill in the sequence can be found by clicking through the individual skills linked below.
