Knee Hang on One Side from the top of the hoop is a relatively uncommon skill. At first, it might sound impossible, but it’s actually quite straightforward. It builds on familiar concepts to maintain support. Even though both knees are on top of the hoop, we always require students to have a solid Single Knee Hang first. That’s because the support can feel very uneven—even with both knees on.
Knee Hang on One Side from the top of the hoop is a bit unusual. We sometimes call it a party skill. It looks impressive until you figure it out—and then it makes sense. That doesn’t mean it’s not worth learning. It’s fun, and it can be very dramatic.
