Moon Rider is an aerial hoop skill that one of our students found by mistake, but everyone in class thought it was really pretty. We totally agreed and eventually it was added to our lyra curriculum.

There are several skills that lead into Moonrider and several ways out, so it is a very versatile skill to add to aerial hoop choreography. The shape is very secure and it feels like it was made for taking great photos.

Our tutorial video covers key tips to make it secure and successful. We love how this skill started out as a mistake and has developed into a student favorite.
