There are a lot of different grips we use on Aerial Hoop. In addition to the basic overhand and underhand grips, we also frequently use two grips called Ole Grip and Flamenco Grip. These two grips are typically used to rotate the hoop around the body or the body around the hoop.

Sometimes the different grips can be confusing especially as the body moves through different orientations. An Ole Grip is when the shoulder is externally rotated. Flamenco Grip can be thought of as an internally rotated shoulder. This tutorial will cover both Ole Grip and Flamenco grip in several different scenarios.
