At Aerial Fit we build our curriculum and leveling around teaching our students how to keep themselves safe in the air and how to progress wisely. When the student is an active learning participant, we find the need for many types of hands on spotting is greatly diminished.

Thanks for diving into this article! At Aerial Fit we’ve always focused on Safety First. By creating a culture of safety that everyone is on board with, our students are freed up to explore, enjoy, and thrive at aerial arts.

Every one of our instructors, as well as the structure of our curriculum, reinforces our school culture of Safety, Smiles, Strengthening, & Skills.

One important part of this culture is that we use a variety of teaching techniques with students, and hands-on spotting is only one of them. By having a variety of effective teaching tools in our toolbelt, we can easily adapt our teaching to new circumstances.
