Crossback Straddle is a classic aerial silks skill that comes up again and again in our intermediate level silks curriculum. There are many entrances and exits, and the Basic Entry to Crossback Straddle is not necessarily the easiest but it is the simplest to understand from a fabric theory perspective.
We call this the Basic Crossback Straddle Entry because it’s very direct. But, there are some tricks that make it successful and we go over those cues in our videos. Mastering this entry will help students understand how the cross behind the back works, and help them understand different entries as well.
