Bomb Drops are quick and dramatic drops on aerial silks, and in our aerial silks teaching curriculum we have three different variations of this drop that we teach to our aerial silk students the most often. Bomb Drop 3 is a variation of Bomb Drop that starts in a Hip Key and ends in a Crossback Wrap, also called a Double Crucifix, either with a twist or a single cross behind the back. There are lots of potential combos that could be created from this.
We only teach this version to our experienced students who have mastered Bomb Drop 1 and other prerequisite skills on aerial silks that we cover in our tutorials. Our aerial silks teaching tutorial videos for these drops include details about progressions and safety tips as well as common mistakes to avoid.
