Haffy Taffy is a variation on Pulling Taffy that prepares students for skills like Iron T and Single Crucifix, or any crucifix position that requires pushing with a low arm.

Haffy Taffy combines Pulling Taffy and Pulling Taffy Down. We use this in warm-ups or as a preperatory drill before teaching skills like the ones listed above. We introduce this at the end of our beginner level curriculum and come back to it at later levels.

Haffy Taffy connects the arms and the core, and requires both shoulders be strong in an external rotation. Haffy Taffy also demands strength and stability in the wrists.
