This Leg Lifting and Straddle Up Drill on aerial silks is for leg lifting strength and to help specifically with straight arm straddle ups. It’s a challenging deep core drill that uses the floor to prevent cheating and compensations. This video covers several different variations, including easier and more challenging modifications to consider.
We use this drill for end of class conditioning for our aerial silk students working towards their straddle ups and to get stronger with their leg lifts. It can be modified and accessible for beginner through advanced level aerial silk students.
