The Muscle Up Entry to Crossback Straddle is only for students who’ve mastered using their core and legs to get into their Crossback Straddle. We only teach it to our higher level students once they have a lot of experience with crossback straddle and are ready for more challenge with it.
This entrance is similar to the Basic Entrance to Crossback Straddle but it is much more challenging because it requires a perfect pathway to achieve. Even though the name of this skill makes it sound like it will be an upper body workout, this entrance is all about mastering corework and leg rotation, and it actually involves very little upper body work when done correctly.
