Pull Up vs Inversion Drill is one we use for students having trouble with their aerial inversions. This drill helps the body understand the difference between a pull up and an inversion.

Sometimes when a student is new to aerial inversions they get stuck right side up and can’t get themselves upside down. That’s where this drill comes in. To get upside down is like doing a negative pullup at the same time as a butt lift.

This drill can be used as part of an aerial warm-up, a conditioning set, or as troubleshooting when working on inversions like tuck up and straddle up.
