This aerial silks sequence includes lots of twisting and twirling motions around and between the fabrics. It also moves up and down quite a bit. It does not require any straddle ups or inversions, but it does require some pull up action. It is a good sequence to work towards with mixed level aerial silk students and our tutorial covers the key tips and techniques that make it work.

This sequence starts on the ground and ends high up on the silks, so it can be used as the beginning of a longer sequence or it can be trained on its own. Our aerial silk students really love this sequence because of all the up, down, and around movement that’s in it. It feels like an accomplishment to get through it because by the end you’ve covered so much territory in the air. There are a lot of different shapes that can be explored in the sequene, so it’s ripe for exploration and for students to add their own personal flair.
