Once our students know how to put on their same side wraps, the Same Side Candy Cane Gazelle is typically one of the first skills we teach from there. The shape is familiar to our students because they train Gazelle in the Knot and in many earlier skills, and with this wrap there are two exit possibilities that we teach right away that we cover in this video. We love this skill for the way it gets students excited to start progressing into more complex skills from their inverted wraps.

This skill can be used to teach students how to put their inverted wraps on cleanly and consistently, and how exiting either under or above a Same Side Knee Hook leads to different possibiliites.
