Same Side Wrapped Climb to Thigh Hitch is a mini sequence that’s one of the first inverted wrapped sequences that we teach our students. This sequence shows how one wrap can lead to another, and helps students understand the connection between Thigh Hitch and Same Side Wrap.

We use this sequence as a way to have students practice putting on and taking wraps off in an efficient way. We also use this sequence as a way to make sure students can move from support to support, and understand where their support is. This skill should be studied along with Opposite Side Wrapped Climb to Hip Key, to explore where the differences and similarities lie.

Mastering little sequences like this gives students more options for exiting wraps safely as they learn skills that initiate in same side wraps.
