Single Knee Mount is a simple and clean way to get to sitting on a fabric knot. We teach this to new beginner students and often build sequences that start from it. This is an easier variation of Double Knee Mount to Seated, and once students are comfortable in Shoulder Hang they’re ready to learn it.

Single Knee Mount is a simple way to begin building core and leg lifting strength in new students. It’s also a useful transition to get to seated on a knot that’s too high to swing a leg up and over onto.
