Before we teach our aerial sling students any skills that put them high up above the bottom of the sling, we first teach them the basics of climbing the sling, so that they’ll know how to find a resting position up there if they need to, and so that they’ll know how to safely come down. The Basic Climb and Descent on aerial sling can also be used as conditioning for higher level students once they’re comfortable with the basics.
