Russian Roll is a very challenging move on aerial sling, but once it’s been mastered, then it’s an exciting transition that can be done in many different ways and in many different wraps on the sling.

In our aerial sling classes, we teach the two leg version of Russian Roll after our advanced aerial sling students have already mastered the single leg version that we have detailed in our building blocks. Our aerial sling teaching tutorial video covers the details and progressions we use when we teach the double leg Russian Roll to our students. In our tutorial videos for aerial sling we also cover two different body style variations that can be fun to explore for choreography, and two different Catchers Wrap Russian Roll variations as well.
