The Same Side Crucifix and Same Side Leg Wrap on aerial sling are hybrid skills that are taken from aerial silks-world. Aerial students who have trained these type of inverted wrapped skills on aerial silks will find them familiar, but the differences can also sometimes be confusing because the loop at the bottom of the sling can change everything. Students who have not trained these type of skills on aerial silks are sometimes surprised at some of the challenges they present.
These classically beautiful higher level skills on aerial sling can take some practice and a good bit of preparation, but they are well worth it for the explorations that are possible and for the unique shapes students can discover once comfortable with them.
