This Up Down and Around Warm Up sequence on aerial sling was developed to get the body moving in all directions from the core of the body. This creative aerial sling sequence warms up and strengthens the muscles in the front, sides, and back of the core, and it takes the body through a series of movements that are not demanding of the grip so the brain can really focus on making movements happen from the center of the body.

When we teach aerial sling we always focus on getting our students to move efficiently, and this sequence includes moves that we do repetitions of. The sequence can be modified to do as few or as many repetitions as you like depending on your goals for the sequence.
