The Harder Sneaky Inversion Sequence on Aerial Hoop is a teaching and conditioning sequence that gets students working on a lot of their inversion muscles without ever actually doing a full inversion. There is nothing wrong with doing pure conditioning drills, but we also like to use playful sequences that build strength and incorporate the joy and creativity of movement.
There are four similar variations of Sneaky Inversion Sequence, with each one getting progressively harder to do. This tutorial covers both of the harder variations. You can find the other variations in the Sneaky Inversion Sequence: Easier tutorial. Most students will find the individual skills in this sequence fairly accessible, but the way we have chosen to transition between skills will challenge even more advanced students. We highly recommend that students try the Sneaky Inversion Sequence: Easier at least once before jumping into this harder variation.
