Basic Stand is a very important fundamental that we teach to our beginner aerial silk students in their first or second class. Basic Stand is a gateway to almost everything we do in the air, from climbing all the way forward to more advanced skills like drops. Even though this is one of the first things to learn, it is often a challenging skill for students to master.

In the process of mastering Basic Stand, students will also learn a lot about fabric supports, body position, and core and full body engagement in the air. We have a lot of drills and skills that make mastering this skill fun, and they are all accessible from this page.
