The Windstar Figurehead Sequence is a fun and flowy aerial silks sequence that slowly spirals down the fabric. This sequence includes some active arched body shapes, and a little bit of fabric puzzling and fabric theory as well. Everything that happens in this sequence after the Windstar Figurehead consists of movements, supports, and shapes that Jordan discovered by simply exploring the supports she was in. She wanted to find ways to incorporate active arched body shapes throughout the sequence, and she used familiar physical pathways to explore her way through the wraps. Our aerial silks tutorial video for this intermediate level sequence covers the transitions and the supports in detail.
