Sequences like this often grow out of explorations and trying to find new ways to transition between familiar skills. Sequences like this work the brain as much as the body, and can be great for helping students make connections between skills that they’re familiar with but discover new ways to think about them. This sequence is also a study in understanding how to put the tail where you want it or, how to put your body where you want it in relation to the tail, to successfully exit from fabric locks and wraps and transition into new ones.
