Toe drags are deceptively difficult and a great challenge for maintaining hollow body while in a knee hang. This drill will help you to isolate a strong core contraction while your legs are moving, rather than allowing an arch to come into your lower back. It’s also a good exercise for the hamstrings. It’s helpful for improving skills that involve knee hooking on a vertical apparatus, like Same Side Climbs and Opposite Side Climbs, and for sitting up from a knee hang on a lyra or trapeze.
