We include this aerial ground drill quite frequently during our cool down after aerial class while the muscles are still warm. This floor drill stretches the pectoral muscles and helps us open the chest back up after performing so much “pulling” in the air.

Because the pectoralis major is a fan shaped muscle, it is good to do this stretch with the arm at several angles to access different muscle fibers.
