Long lines can make or break an aerial silks or hoop performance! Not only are long lines visually pleasing, but extending the body into long lines is actually a key technique for keeping the body healthy and happy during aerial practice.

This workout focuses on strengthening the muscles that will help with extension in various parts of the body, so finding those long lines in the air becomes easier and more intuitive.

Props needed:

  • Yoga mat or similar soft surface
  • Foam roller or rolled up beach towel
  • Small object (can be almost anything…small ball, tv remote, something of similar size)
