This simulated pull up drill helps students learn the pullup pathway, and it also makes a nice counterbalance to pull ups because in this drill we’re pushing and creating body balance. This drill utilizes a tension bridge, which is especially great for finding the arms overhead range of motion with a strong tight core.
This drill is especially useful for increasing the range of motion in any skill that requires pull-ups, from basic climbing all the way up to advanced aerial skills. This drill requires a foam roller or something similar.
