This straddle press-out drill strengthens and trains an active straddle. Making the action of pressing out into a straddle second nature helps strengthen skills like straddle ups, wheeldowns, crossback straddles, and any other skills that require holding a strong straddle in the air. This drill taps into the muscles of the hips and core and is good as part of a full aerial conditioning program. You will need a long resistance loop for this exercise.
