Belly Roll Mount is another favorite mount of our beginner students. The mount is versatile and can lead to a large variety of skills. We love teaching it because it really emphasizes the concept of creating a shelf with the leg. It is similar to Vine Climb, but it doesn’t use the knees which some students appreciate. This is one of the few mounts where the dismount is typically harder for the students than the mount, so we usually introduce the mount first.
