Bird’s Nest Front Balance on Aerial Hoop is one of those skills that is easy to do, but much harder to make look clean and effortless. This skill does require at least moderate back bend mobility to create the classic shape, but students with limited back bend mobility can still likely find a variation that works for them.

We definitely recommend giving students plenty of time to warm up their back bends either with ground drills or other more gentle back bending skills before working on this skill.
