The Ole Turnaround to Side Ball Sequence on aerial hoop combines several skills that go together so nicely. This short sequence is very performative and looks splendid with a spin. For most students, the challenge in this sequence is getting the ole turnaround to transition smoothly. Students need to stay focused in the moment as they pivot on one foot.
There are some really exciting options to consider on what to do before or after this sequence, but since this short block of skills takes a lot of focus, we introduce it to students as a short choreographic phrase then once they have mastered it we will add on skills before and after.
