The Ankle Scoop Climb to Revolving Door Sequence on aerial silks combos together a climb, a footlock skill, a hip key, and an infinite dive. In our aerial silks classes, we teach this sequence to aerial students who have mastered the dive that’s in it, and who we’re looking to challenge their mental and physical endurance. All of the unique aerial silks skills leading up to the dive are skills that we spend a good bit of time on in our level 1 and level 2 silk classes because they build strong technique and mental and physical endurance by themselves. These skills are versatile and they have lots of space for exploration.
Our aerial silks teaching tutorial video for this sequence covers the transitions in detail as well as teaching tips for the sequence as a whole.
